• Chaparral Leaf - Chaparral slows down the rate of bacterial growth and kills the bacteria with anti-microbial activity. Great in the first aid kit for skin abrasions and injuries.
• Echinacea Flower - This herb has caffeic acid glycoside which reacts with other substances in the body's cells. This facilitates the wound healing process. Excellent for drawing out poisons such as ant bites, bee stings, jellyfish stings and many more.
• Hops Flower - A very powerful herb for decreasing painful swelling and inflamed pneumatic pain. This contains two antibiotic substances—humulon and lupulon, both effective on staph and other skin bacteria.
• Usnea Moss - Usnea, with its usnic acid and antibiotic compounds, makes an excellent anti-fungal—especially useful for bacterial infection, first, second and third degree burns, plus athlete's foot.

I am totally addicted to the Mechanic's Hand Salve.... Been using it for several year's now. I'm an electrician, and my hands take considerable abuse. But you wouldn't know it by looking at them. Thank You.

Since I live up North though, my tin of BKG Hand Salve is frequently chilled. So I rest my Cup of Joe(BKG mug of course) on top of the tin. After 15 min. or so the salve is nice and warm and Creamy smooth. Try it. - Tom A.
